Rebranding - the first step: Create the Carithers Brand Story
At its core, brand storytelling establishes emotional connections with people based on the values you share with them and their needs, desires and aspirations. A brand story helps solidify the brand's identity and helps people understand who they are, what they do, and what makes them unique.
A brand story shares a company's history, challenges, successes, and values, which creates a distinctive brand identity in customers' minds. When customers connect with a brand's story emotionally, they feel a sense of affinity and belonging, which fosters a deeper bond with the brand.
Next Design started by researching the floral business community using resources like the SAF (Society of American Florists), and by analyzing competitor brand positioning, business objectives, and online presentations. Then, by creating concept Mood Boards, a proposed "brand look", began to develop. Next step was to plan a strategy, and create assets that support the newly rebranded vision.
NEXT Step: Develop Assets, and Capture Carithers' Character
Our goal was to tap into customers' emotions, values, and dreams by developing assets that can be projected in various channels, with a positive impulse to gift flowers. Working together with the John Haigwood Photography Studio, we created imagery assets that tell that Carithers story.
